Currently running two SD tv's on a 622 dvr. Programming Top100 and Showtime. Currently at $67.75 per month

I am planning to get 2 HD tv's and upgrade my Dish package to include 2 DVR's.
Here is what I was quoted.

1. 2 HD dvr's $99.99 each with rebate of $100.00 (no cost)

2. Rental for both boxes (one $5 and the other $6 per month)

3. Then ther is a $20.00 month HD fee per month after 6 months free.

So Current $67.75 + $11 box rental + $20 HD = $97.95

Is there something I should get different?
Thoughts before I look at other providers just for comparison?

It sounds like you already have one HD capable DVR. If you're upgrading to two HDTVs, you only need one additional HD DVR. Also don't forget the additional DVR fee.

(Unless you meant 625 and not 622)

In my best Ed McMahon voice "You are correct sir!"
(I was mistaken I now run a 625 not a 622)

Here is what another member thought would be a good dish approach for me....

DVR advantage for $39.99 + $20 HD (2 TV's) + $10 Showtime + $6 extra receiver (which could be a 211 if you don't need a DVR for the second room) which would be $75 for everything ... or an extra $6 maybe for the additional DVR - less $20 per month for 6 months - less showtime free for 3 months .. so $150 in credits total

Another thing noted is that if you sign up for automatic payment, you can get Cinimax for 2 years for a penny.

Thoughts?
Mike
