I'm getting a shutdown code 117 - ~ 10 seconds after the channels finish loading. Then the screen goes away and comes back after a few seconds, stay on for a few seconds, then exits again.

I tried to enter a support call but couldn't log in :(

Apparently their website is down, and if the software can't reach the website it shuts down because it thinks you might have pirated software. Everyone seems to be having the same problem since last night.

and they're back down again. So everyone that set up their timetrax software tonight to record Stern in the morning and then went to bed will get a fairly unpleasant surprise when they wake up. Way to go, TT team.

Shutdown code 114 on the Debug Mode

Yes, I just got that dreaded 117 code with both versions 1.4 and 1.5. Darn.
And got a code 114 in the debug mode.

What is going on? And why should this have to call home and then quit when it can not reach home?

I'm getting the same code.

They'd get a pass if this was a Sirius tech difficulty.

That its caused by their ridiculous 24/7 internet connection policy for their own piracy paranoia makes it outrageous.

I guess that I need to send this back and buy from Sirius.

I have a better one. Not only do the program go from running to ZERO channels coming thru, but, this morning (the first morning of Stern!) my entire pc is shutting down! The error message that I get is that my "computer has recovered from a serious problem", and then I get "a driver is causing the problem."

I've NEVER had a problem like this before I installed TT! I've NEVER gotten a blue screen error message where the pc had to reboot!

I'M sure glad that I decided to save a little cash and buy TT vs. buying a unit from SIRIUS it'self. I'm also glad that I "bought" into the idea of buying a unit that will allow me to record STERN, and then load the recordings into iTunes!

I'M sure glad that when you pay a nice little chunk of change for the unit that it doesn't come with a manual, that you have to actually download it from their site and use my own paper and printer cartrige to print it out!

I Love that you have to SEARCH for a support number to call, rather than it being on a MANUAL!

What a GREAT product!

Boy, what a GREAT company!

Silly me for believing adverstisement!
