Sierra Games Returning?

Looks like Activision is trying to revive the long dormant publisher (which they own along with all their IP). The website has been relaunched and a new Twitter account has been created that tweeted, "Don't call it a comeback."

Activision announced that Sierra is back. Will reboot some classic franchises as well as work as an indie division of Activision.

It is..

A new King's Quest is also on the way from developer The Odd Gentlemen, a "reimagined" take on the franchise that will include the same classic puzzle challenges and narrative focus as the original games. The story will follow the adventures of King Graham and his granddaughter Gwendolyn on their travels, as the young Gwendolyn "discovers the true greatness" of her relative. This new King's Quest will launch in 2015.

$40 seems a little steep for a episodic point and click game. The $25 price point Tell Tale has set seems much more reasonable.

Ouch, yeah, not like it's a high powered game. At the Tell Tale price point I'd get it, not at $40 though.
