Hey guys, I just recently got a 622 installed, along with a Dish 1000... Anyway, its pointed at the two main satellites and 129 of course. What are you guys getting for signal strength on the 129 sat? I can only get about 58-60 if I am lucky, and rain fade is very bad. The other two sats are 90-105 and don't seem to have that issue. Would I be better off getting a 500 and pointing it at the 129 sat? If I do that, can I use the built in switch in the 1000 and not have to get dp44 if I unhook the 129 LNB? Thanks!

If you're losing pic due to rain fade call dish and complain.
Ask for a dish 1000.2

In the meantime, use your cell phone out at your dish (if possible).
Then, fish2222 phone home.
Nudge the dish left and then right slightly and get a report from 'home'
If signal level increases on 129 tr31, slightly bend the dish/mount till sig stays where you want it. Only do this if the two post nuts are tightened down very good. (you don't want to swing it on the post!!)
