Hi folks,
The answer to this is probably just a matter of counting down from three loudly and pressing play but I thought I'd see if there were more technical options available.

The setup:
2 HR21 HD DVRs (with all but the latest CE firmware. Yes, MRV works well:))
Gigabit Ethernet connectivity (although the boxes connect at 100)
Coax connectivity from the receivers back to the switch. (SWM comes in the house then the DirecTV guys have some sort of switch/splitter deal.
Each location has 4 Ethernet ports.

So the question is...
During a sporting event that is not live (recorded on both DVRs), any crazy ideas on how I can view the event on both televisions in sync?
... and to spice things up...
Be able to FF through commercials?

I'd be willing to live with letting the commercials go if it came to that.

As much as I'd love to be able to do this with native DirectTV magic, I think my only option would be an internal Slingbox connection to a PC connected to the 2nd set.

This kind of thing seems obscure until you think about hosting superbowl parties and such.

What do you guys think?

umm not sure if its what your looking for, but you can mirror one box to another tv, then use MRV to watch a game from the host. Im not really following what your asking for though.

How do you mirror?

And yes.. live is the way to go.. unless they broadcast it at 4 am... :)

You want HD on both TVs?

HD would be preferred but if it had to be standard on the secondary I could live with it.

I'm thinking my only solution is a HD Slingbox and the Catcher, no?

This would let me skip commercials at both locations.

Thanks,
Woo
