I was going to pull the sat radio out of my car and use it in my office. I was going to play it through pc speakers at my desk. Two coworkers have sat radios too so previously I had installed an outdoor home anteen kit with a splitter using rg6. Their coax cables run approx 100' and work fine. My coax goes 165' and my radio only gets one bar of signal. I was using rg6 with a three way all ports power passing splitter. I guess the cable was too long. I thought about an amp of some sort. Does the Sirius antenna pass the 2300hz signal through the antenna or does it have an IF frequency like a satellite tv LNG?
