Ready or not, SiriusXM is unleashing the holiday spirit with 15 commercial-free holiday music channels that run the gamut, including traditional holiday songs, classic Christmas carols, holiday pop songs, country Christmas classics, contemporary holiday tunes, seasonal soul music, Hanukkah music and classical Christmas favorites.

Rollout begins Oct. 25 with the Holly, Holiday Traditions and Hallmark Channel Radio Friday, Oct. 25, with 12 more music channels broadcasting as of Friday, Nov. 1. Most endure through Dec. 26.

The SiriusXM's holiday channel lineup features:


Holly (channels 65 and 30)

Contemporary holiday hits featuring songs by Mariah Carey, Gwen Stefani, Michael Bublé, Pentatonix, Josh Groban, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Idina Menzel.

Holiday Traditions (channel 73)

Traditional holiday recordings from the '40s through the '60s by artists such as Bing Crosby, Andy Williams, Ray Conniff and Nat King Cole.

Hallmark Channel Radio (channel 70)

Timeless Christmas music and carols, brought to you by favorite Hallmark Channel stars.

Holiday Pops (streaming on channel 780 and via satellite on channel 76)

Classical Christmas carols and holiday favorites performed by classical artists, including the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Luciano Pavarotti, New York Philharmonic, King's College Choir, Boston Pops and Thomas Hampson.

Country Christmas (streaming on channel 779 and via satellite on channel 58)

Country Christmas music, including Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Willie Nelson and Kacey Musgraves.

Navidad (streaming on channel 781)

The holiday season is upon us, and SiriusXM is gifting you 15 commercial-free music channels that’ll get you ready for the most wonderful time of the year.

Hallmark Channel Radio will kick off the holiday season Friday, October 25, and 12 more music channels — including Holly and Holiday Traditions — will start broadcasting on Friday, November 1. SiriusXM’s holiday music channels will feature a variety of traditional holiday songs, classic Christmas carols, holiday pop songs, country Christmas classics, contemporary holiday tunes, seasonal soul music, Hanukkah music and classical Christmas favorites. SiriusXM will also launch a collection of online-only holiday music channels, including ’70s/’80s Christmas, Rockin’ Xmas, Holiday Chill-Out, Latin seasonal music, and Jazz Holidays.

To me, I generally start listening to Christmas music on Thanksgiving weekend.

Glad they aren't changing Prime Country over to Country Christmas until December...that first release in the initial post made it sound like it was switching the end of this week.
 
I listen year round, but Hallmark starting movies before Halloween and stores starting displays before Halloween is a bit much. I heard a dang commercial on my SiriusXM 40's junction this morning, rare I know, but I guess its switching to Holiday Traditions on Nov1. I can live with that as its normally the Sirius Christmas channel I listen too.
