Have run some numbers on the Sat Finder programs that were offered here, and appreciate the references very much, but,
Some of the Skew “figures” are rather high!
I was told/read that one shouldn’t twist the LNBF over about 30°, and some of those numbers are WELL above that. Any truth to the “limit” ?

(Equip: Traxis DBS1500 System, which included a Spitfire Mod ASC321 LNB, and a Hotdish75 Dish, which is mounted on a Pedestal/Post)

You can twist it more than 30 degrees. Here in MN there isn’t much that needs more than 30 either way) but some areas (especially on either coast) you need to twist it more than 30

I use to be able (until a tree grew in the way) get Hispasat 1C at 30 degrees…skew there is like -41

Always thought skew was an individual thing dependant how how the LNBF is mounted. Best setup would give you 0 and 90 degrees. If not then you use skew figures unique to your installation.
