Sling Adaptor for Hopper

I will be receiving the sling adaptor today and after I hook it up do I need to do anything else or should I be good to go after that???

You will not have to do anything else. The Sling Adapter is a plug and play device.

They seem to be sensitive as to what usb port you use. Does anyone know the reason for that?

I noticed that also. It wouldn't work until I changed USB ports. I was wondering if my Hopper had a bad port but I don't have anything else to test it with.

I inserted mine yesterday and the red light on it didn't come on until I hit the reset button and rebooted the receiver. Tested it with my iPod Touch and worked like a charm.
