Why does it have to be so hard to connect remotely to your Sling? I can connect once every 20-30 times. I can watch movies on the Dishanywhere website but trying to access my DVR is totally frustratin. Talking with tech support gets me no where, so any thoughts on why I am having so much trouble? I know it isn't my internet connections because of the movie access so is it something at home that needs tweaking? I have tried the suggestions that Dish has given me at home in sequencing the on and off of all my routers and such, but to no avail. I am away from home more than a week a time twice a month and would like to use this unit but it is frustrating. Thanks

How are you setup... a sling adapter to a 722(k)/hopper or a hopper with sling built in?
How are the receivers connected to your network..(wifi or hard wired ethernet)?
Have you tried setting the ip for the receiver/sling in the DMZ of your router?
My dad and I both use ours all the time while traveling and rarely if ever have problems as long as we have a decent connection where ever we happen to be. We both have 722's with sling adapters
