Smart Pack Gone?

I just logged into my Dish account, and I noticed that under the Core packaging page the Smart Pack is no longer listed for $32.99. As in I can't even see it anymore to select it. The only packages are the Flex Pack, the AT packs, and the Everything pack. Did Dish announce that they are phasing out that pack in favor of the Flex Pack?

Both the Smart and the Welcome Packs can only be added by a Dish agent. They aren't available in customer facing tools or applications.

Thanks for the quick response. I couldn't find the Smart Pack easily on the Dish site - it is no longer listed as a Core Package. But doing some searching via Google, I was able to find it. Says it is is no longer for sale.

If you're trying to change to the Smart Pack, I would get in touch with a DIRT agent or just chat in from the website.

i was able in the past to add smart pack and dish america pack via mydish.
dish america is gone too

My account shows Welcome Pack, Smart Pack and Dish America all gone. Is Dish trying to drive the prices up by cutting out the lower price packs?

They are now just available only by request. Your account screenshot looks exactly the same as mine

That isn't quite what my panel looks like. It includes Latino Bonus Pack and Smart Pack. It does not have the Flex Pack and it has not shown Welcome Pack or Dish America for me for a long time. Also I don't see local channels as an option on yours mine does.

Not to hijack the thread but I looked at the Dish America page you referenced because I was curious as to whether it showed the PAC 12 network as being part of the package.I could have sworn I"d been watching it for years.In any case it is not part of the package as listed.
On the other hand I definitely do get the NFL network and the Golf channel which are supposedly not in Dish America.
I have had the silver package ever since it came into existence so maybe I'm grandfathered.

There are reasonable explanations for both of those. You likely do not see Flex Pack available on your account because at least one of your receivers does not have the white G4 Smart Card, which is a minimum requirement for Flex Pack. (If your Smart Card is purple, or if it is an older built-in card, then it is a G3.) As far as jerryez's screen, it would not show local channels as an option because they are automatically included in Welcome Pack. (There is no way for Welcome Pack subscribers to drop locals.)
