SMU ant with one recvr HD, can I add old rcvr (1 Viewer)

DTV came and installed one antenna with a "SMU" and 1 HD rcvr. I have an older SAMSUNG rcvr 6-8 yrs old, will this work ???

If you mean SWM, no, the receiver is not compatible with the SWM system.
