I was really not looking forward to moving over the weekend, setting everything up, and all the fun.

We moved on Saturday, and I had dish scheduled to come out sunday morning to install the dish. I was not looking forward to this at all, my last install took 4 trips and two months to get right. I was pleasantly suprised with this one. he gets there around 9 in the morning, and finds a good spot to install, I was a little concerned because of some trees but all is good. We are chatting for a while, as I help him put the dish up. I could not get my DSL install til yesterday so I was without Internet and was telling him how I was looking forward to all the networking I had to do. So that is when he goes to his truck and brings me a slinglink and says that if I want to install it he will give it to me for free. I was not to impress with Homeplug when I tried using at my last place, but figured hey ill give it a try.

Last night I finally get the DSL up and running, I had to run a new phone line to where I wanted the router, I plug in the slinglink, go around to 3 recievers and try connecting, it worked the first try. I could never get it to work the last place, I had one reciever hooked up to ethernet and the other 2 would connect once in awhile but after a day or so they would disconnect. I hope this one last then I will be happy. Now all I have to do is wire a computer and the Xbox to the Internet and all my computers are hooked up. Thankfully most of them are wireless :)

So, I would like to say, this is the best experience I have had with an installer. The wiring is tucked away nicely and all looks really good. (this one actually grounded the dish) my last one was on the peak of my two story house and not grounded.

Sorry I was so long winded, just wanted to share another positive story with all of you.
