Here I am watching the Latin Grammy Awards and trying to enjoy the show (which is great BTW) so far music from Luis Miguel, Shakira, Andrea Bocceli and many others. Great music. Great arrangement. But as I listen to it I keep cringing at the constat clipping in the audio. The Andrea Bocceli song medley was beginning to sound okay until he started to whale out with power and incredible sound. It was too much for some electronic somewhere at Univision. The clipping of the oversaturated sound just splashed all over the place! How disappointing!
Anyway, it is nice to see the Latin Grammies go back to the format they started with. One or two awards fallowed by at least one live performance!
