E2 can be a riot! About 4 years ago on Openatv I was manually deleting channels on 97 west ku. I realized that they were automatically scanning back in at the same time. After a half hour or so, I resorted to Google to find the settings /fix to address this! lol
I would use the LAN or WLAN connection. HAve the STB and the PC on the same network. Enter the IP address assigned to the STB by your router into the DreamBoxEdit set-up and download from the STB, edit and upload to the STB. Close DreamBoxEdit when you are done.
Thanks! I got the 103 music mux programmed in. That is pretty neat to do it all wirelessly! Sorry to resurrect a year-old-thread, but thought it was better to keep on-topic items together in the STB forums.
