Beginning at 10 AM the site will be down for us to upgrade to Xenforo 2.3.
I have been nervous about upgrading to this version since it has the possibility to break some of our custom add ons. Since some of these add ons were written just for us many years ago I have no way of saying what and what will not work. I have my fingers crossed. Another reason I have been nervous as there have been issues with people upgrading and the upgrade corrupting files. These issues appear to be fixed now and no one is reporting upgrade issues anymore.
To be safe I will be doing a complete backup of all files and the database before preforming the update. Becuase of this the performance of the site my be a little slower while the backups are done.
Once the update is complete I will have about 25 add ons to update as well. Most updates are to support 2.3 and others are security updates.
How long will this take? I don't know... but I will work to keep the down time to a minimum.
