That's not something you can set up on your South-facing porch or patio. Storing that kind of energy is also a pretty ambitious endeavor.

Imagine if they came out with a home version of that...much better than silly panels

Whether solar panels or mirrors, they still take up quite a bit of acreage and surely require considerable maintenance to keep the tracking system in top shape. I can't imagine how much fun it is to maintain a steam-powered generator.

There's a reason they do this at secure facilities out in the middle of nowhere.
