iirc it requires the same OTA module as the 722k. Good luck finding one today though.

I just thought there were ViPs and then Hoppers, and that you either upgraded to Hopper or stuck with ViP. Do Hopper upgrades require an LNBF change? Is this some kind of "in-between" Hopper designed to work without any other system changes, as like a direct rx swap?

Regular Hoppers work with regular LNBs. Hopper 3s need a hybrid environment and require either a hybrid LNB or a hybrid 42 switch to introduce it.
