Finally watched the 10/1/06 "Cold Case" I had recorded on my 622, last night. Found something weird, there were at least three segments of the program, each lasting about 3-4 minutes, where there was no dialogue coming through the sound system (I saw the lips moving, so I know the characters were speaking), however, the background music was audible, as was environmental background noise, like city traffic, horns, etc. I know they put the sound on different tracks, I am wondering if this was a problem from the production studio, CBS, or another 622 audio glitch:confused:

Tell more

I've been having a similar problem w/ CBS HD national feed (9483). What has been happening is that the audio will cut in and out but pict stays fine. Is this where you are having the problem or not?

I recorded the program OTA from the local CBS station, in Los Angeles. There was audio, just not the dialogue track. I also noted a "pop" when the program finally got to where the characters' voices could be heard again. Video was just fine.

I always record "Cold Case" off 9483, and saw no such problems with this year's eposodes. Perhaps weather in your area or your own system. Or are you receiving west coast?
