Speaker makes a loud pop when un-pausing DISH

Hopper3 Sling, Sony DH-510 amp. I have eliminated speakers and TV by swapping with others. When I pause a show on Dish no problem, but when I un-pause I hear a loud pop in the right channel only. (I switched speaker wires on amp and it changed to the other speaker. Also tried different HDMI cables ARC. Seems like it must be Hopper or amp. Can somebody please help me figure out which one?

I have this problem with my Pioneer Elite VSX-90 with a single Digital Optical source. It is really annoying. I don't get it on other sources. I used to get something similar, only way worse, on my PS3 when watching content with DTS-HD audio and an older Sony AVR. I've never found any solutions.

I get a high pitched squeal on my TV after resuming paused content on my Hopper 3.
