I am trying to split my signal coming out of the receiver to the kitchen, and 2 bedrooms. I am it will work in the kitchen but not in the bedrooms. What is the best way to do this. The 2 bedrooms picture is very snowy and makes a buzzing noise.

I noticed that the line that goes to the 2 bedrooms is running up against the main power line coming into the house from the electrical meter. Could this be a problem too?

Thats probubly it. Noise and other crap is getting in your coax.

the attenuator won't be as much help as just moving the cable to a better spot. you could also try grounding the shield in your coax cable, that might take care of it as well
