This is an email that I received from KYTV in Springfield,MO. regarding Dish Network.


Mr. Green,

We are not aware of when Dish might launch local channels in HD. I have assumed it would have happened long before now. Also, DirecTV launched locals (except KY3) several weeks ago which I though might prompt Dish to do the same. However, we have not heard a date.

We are anxious for this to happen as much as you.

Sounds like we might be getting KY3 when they launch. We will see next Wednesday, maybe.

It would be great to get the Springfield locals in HD, I get excellent reception OTA, however with the new shows it would be nice to be able to record 3 network programs at the same time.
