Hi, I had purchase LCD HD and my DirectTV do not has HD output. If I purchase only the Directtv HD (one-bay) unit without pay extra to DirecTV x a HD package, can I get the HD? let me know.

Yes, if you have a 3LNB dish, you will get the currently available MPEG2 HD channels. However, if you want your HD network locals (assuming they have launched in your area) or any of the new HD channels launching in the fall, you will need the 5LNB dish and a MPEG4 capable HD receiver (H20 or HR20).
