I will be in destin florida in feb/ mar

Require settings for star choice installstions. compass, elevation & screw

I have a 301 receiver, using a eliptical disc ( 60 E ) with dual satellite quad

output switch

Any info on set problems would be helpfull

I am familiar with setting up my own disc's

Magnetic azimuth should be used when using an uncorrected compass.
Dish Elevation: 46.72
Skew Angle: 114.1

This is for pointing at both satellites with the 75

Question for Bluereef

Checking the skew settings on the star choice charts ,they show Panama City and Pensocola at 127 and 125

Destin is in between

So is the 114 setting correct ?

that skew doesnt sound right

I live in Orlando and these settings from above are incorrect for my area. My elevation is at 40.0 according to the numbers on my dish plate.

But I think each dish will have a little different numbers shown and each site show different numbers.

Here are 3 different numbers for my area on elevation's from 3 other different satellite look angles sites. I ended up being at 40 according to my dish plate.

Dish Elevation: 44.6

Elevation: 45.9°

Dish Elevation 46

So some where in betweeen is the happy medium and what ever you end up at and what works for you is your magic number!!
