Hi Satelite guys,

I have a Shaw system.

My setup was:
Dual stack elliptical dish at home with 505's, a 605, and a 401.
Stacked round dish at cottage with a 401.

I just picked up a used 505 for the cottage and a 34" Panasonic CRT HDTV (I know, just joining the 20th century, but it looks great after about two hours of manual alignment and a pain in the back after lugging the 200 lb beast in from the car.)

My Question is this:

I have an extra stacked round dish and a 22khz 2x1 switch.

Can I use the extra round dish and the switch to get the 2nd sat for the HD channels?

If this works, where should I be pointing the 2nd dish? Higher and more west? Lower and more east? Is the same degrees of twist as the 1st dish's LNB the best skew?

I am in Southern Ontario by the way.

Thanks all in advance - great info on this forum.

Should work for you. Point second dish at 111 degrees, which would be slightly lower and towards your west. Skew would be slightly different, but not by much.
