I liked it, it just didn't compare to earlier seasons.

And of course part of it is the magic of the "real" SG-1 is gone, without Jack, and very little Carter. But its still great tv, and I'll finish watching my second go-through.

To this day the woman who played Adria drives me nuts. Hated her on V, primarily because of her on SG-1.

I think you were the only one who liked the Ori Arc.

Just for grins, I went to Dish online and to the BB area, where I had never been. I changed my settings to Blu-ray from DVD and searched for Stargate. The first one came up as available at local stores (3 w/in 10 miles), as DVD and as BD. But selecting "Get It" only pulls up the DVD, not the BD. Am I doing something wrong or is the site "NQR?"

I have the first one on BD anyway, but I've never seen the others or TV.

The series is only available on dvd so far, I caught seasons 5 & 6 on Showtime Beyond in HD last fall for my media player. They came out with a Directors cut of the first episode / pilot a couple of years ago that is available as a single dvd also.

I own them all on DVD, but have been watching on Netflix. PQ is better. And seasons 8 and 9 are darn close to HD.

Season 1 is very good, but it gets GREAT in seasons 2 - 5.

Watched Tantalus & Bloodlines from season 1 today. I'm enjoying seeing the early episodes sequentially for the first time.

It is such a joy to watch. I am 9 episodes into season 9, still not loving the Ori arc, but watching. And splitting time between it and Season 3 of Atlantis.

I only have 5.6 gigs left on my scifi drive, time to expand... saw Amazon has some seasons for under $22 on dvd...

I don't think I paid more than that for any of the seasons. I generally bought them at Sam's Club for $18.99 or so.
