Stargate SG-1 Discussion

[SpenceJT]

Gateworld has the Continuum Trailer up...

Great! Can't wait! It'll be my first SG1 on Blu-ray!

[long_time_Dish]

Looks like it'll be a great rollercoaster ride!

[dfergie]

Scifi is showing the Crystal Skull SG1 today... ties in with the Indy movie in a way

[long_time_Dish]

Oh yeah, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

[dfergie]

Good one... been a long time since I saw it so it was almost like a new one... Classic Jack

[long_time_Dish]

Yeah, love his line about Daniel having lost some weight.

[dfergie]

I just realized I have that in my season 3 set... going to check it out to compare PQ and maybe end up watching another...

[long_time_Dish]

Yep, there are lot of terrific episodes in seasons 3 and 4.

[dfergie]

Ended up watching the next episode, the season 3 ender with the replicators... PQ is very good upcoverted from my D1 to the mits...

[long_time_Dish]

That's a really good episode too. My upconverting Sammy player does a really nice job with just about any disc I put in it. There are exceptions though...

[dfergie]

Now I want to go get the Season 4 disc to finish the story

[long_time_Dish]

I wish Showtime would've done the initial 5-6 seasons in HD.

It is a good story line, no doubt!

[Ramy]

My favorite episode is in Season 4. The one where Jack and Tealc keep reliving the day over and over.

[dfergie]

I have several:
S-1-- Children of the Gods, Solitudes, There but for the Grace of God
S-2-- 1969
S-3 -- Point of View, Urgo, Nemisis
I have the above sets...
S-4 -- Small Victories, The Curse, 2010
S-5 -- Enemies,Wormhole Extreme, Proving Ground
S-6 -- Descent, The Other Guys, Paradise Lost
S-7 -- Chimera, Heroes Pt 1 and 2
S-8-- New Order 1 and 2, Prometheus Unbound, Moebius 1 and 2
S-9-- Avalon 1 and 2, Ripple Effect
S-10-- Flesh and Blood, 200
Many of these could be interchanged with others in that season

[long_time_Dish]

I have more favorites than I could list, but oddly, Urgo isn't among them at all.

1969 is terrific.

[rockymtnhigh]

It would be hard to make a favorites list; too many episodes I really love. I think seasons 4 - 6 are absolutely excellent.

[dfergie]

Yeah those are just some off the top of my head...

[dfergie]

Now I want to go get the Season 4 disc to finish the story

Don't have to... SG1 Marathon on Monday with Season 4 #1 on at 8 am ...

[long_time_Dish]

That'll be fun!

[rockymtnhigh]

How dare someone spam our thread!

Anyway... 2010 was on SciFi the other day. Fun to watch again, even if in SD.
