I only caught half the SG1 marathon today on my DVR...some good episodes in there...I should've been looking ahead more...

Forgot all about it... have to see if I set any timers...(after watching Firefly: Serenity )

The next SG1 marathon is Feb. 27th, with a good group of 8 Season 10 episodes, including "Unending", then a season 9 episode at 6pm ET (the regular time) and another season 10 episode at 11pm ET, followed later by 2 season 1 episodes of SGA at 1am and 2am ET.

So, mark your calendars.

Just watched the Lost City part 2... (where they defeat Anubis and find the Antarctica site)... Don Davis(Hammond of Texas) is on the Scifi Movie of the week (premiered tonight) Wyvern...

Just finished watching Zero Hour (O'Neill almost resigns) and it always cracks me up when he calls Camulus "Camelass" when he's talking to Baal.

I watched Covenant today, when the engineer was trying to "out" the Stargate program. Pretty good episode. 1/3 through season 8, O'Neill still seems very uncomfortable, and not very persuasive as a general. He is just one of those guys they never should have promoted. Much better as a field commander.

According to his filmography on imdb, it's his last credited role (2009).

Yeah I watched off of Directv, need to set a timer with Dish... (Directv EHDD is at %17) watching HD DVD clips... but just eyeballed BSG Battles Need to get all of the SG1's and do one of those...

I think that's the way Anderson wanted to play his Brig. Gen. role...like he told SG1 when he was thinking about whether or not to take the job commanding the SGC, "All my career, I've been stickin' it to the man. Now I'm the man. I'm not sure I can be the man."

Honestly, if the character of O'Neill would've suddenly been like Gen. Hammond, I wouldn't have bought it.

Oh I agree Anderson played a general the only way O'Neill could, but the end result is that in many ways it created a leadership vacuum.
