i just acquired a complete sv360 and although it is a bit dusty, what documentation I could find says it works as a dish 1000. I imagine it would work with a non hopper as a dish pro lnb? Any experience others have would be nice.

Thats a free to air recover, not a dish receiver

need a 30-36" dish (or larger) and a KU Band LNB.

I fouled the name. I have a TracStar SV360. It is an agnostic, in motion auto tracking dish. The owners manual show ls it works with Directv, Dish and Bell Express.

No worries. I may have to just dig out my old receiver and hook it all up an see what my receiver thinks it is connected to. I'm now thinking it will recognize it as a legacy LNB.
