statement from sea launch regarding directv 11 launch

this morning i emailed the director of communications at sea launch for clarification regarding the dtv 11 launch, since the info is sketchy. here's what she emailed me back!


``We are currently scheduling the launch of directv 11 for late december.........you're safe saying december/january.

We have another launch scheduled for late october. We cannot confirm any scheduling for dtv 11 until we complete this earlier session.''

Thanks for the info iceturkee....altho Paula's statements have to be "forward"
looking with her company in mind, at least we get a more positive look at what's
planned...I imagine any info on E11 would also be dependant on results of the
Thuraya3 launch, as well.

i think we can more than safely assume any major launch from sea launch won't get firmly scheduled until after october. however, i will be more than happy to ask about e11.
