That certainly is true. T-Mobile is too focused on deploying low band spectrum instead of tower density. Their coverage in rural areas is pathetic, if you are near a tower, data speeds are usually phenomenal but overall coverage is not that great from my experience in rural areas of NY, PA and OH.
