Strongest An Best Tp On Galaxy 19 97W?

With so many TPs on Galaxy 19 97W, what is the best one to lock to and scan. After having had a few past wind storms the dish moved and I am having a hard time with bleed over from other satellites, and want to fine tune the Ku dish for best reception by using Galaxy 19 97W as my starting point.

You mean the weakest one? That's what I sometimes look for when readjusting and just need to tweak the dish (rather than locating the satellite position, in which case, I choose a strong TP instead).

Try 11898, 11929, 11960, out of the 23 TPs on my receiver these are the strongest right now in the middle of a major rain storm near Toronto.
Not bad for Openbox S9 with a 24 inch dish. Yup a 24 inch offset dish!

12152 transponder and 12028 transponder are the ones that i use since I watch them the most.

You are right, but in my case I would be happy to just get rid of all the crossover satellites, so first thing for me to do is obtaining a very good signal from 97W and then peak for the others TPs. LOL!

one of the strongest I use is 11842 and sr 22000 H polarity for like 3abn and other channels

Would never use the 11842 transponder for optimizing a G19 install. 11842 has bad adjacent satellite interference from 95w. The Signal Quality readings for most of the satellite transponders will be best when aimed directly at G19, but 11842 SQ is better if the dish is bumped slightly west of the actual G19 alignment. This attenuates the adjacent satellite interference and brings up the 11842 transponder Signal Quality reading.

Just happen to test a new shipment of GEOSATpro SL1PLL LNBFs today and have these measurements of Signal Level and Quality for each transponder. This chart shows the readings with the dish optimized for the majority of G19 transponders in Northern California.
