Subscription question

I purchased 2 301 receivers, new, last year or so thinking that I was going to add them to my existing system. Now I want to connect them but, my kids lost one of the cards and the other card is the old blue one. Do you think Dish will send me new cards so I can get them activated?

You have to have a card to have it activated. They will activate the receiver with the blue card and immediately send you a new one out.

If you do not have a card to out on your account for the one lost, you will have to purchase one; they have to have a blue one on the account to replace it with a yellow.

I am not sure if you will have any programming on that blue card when they put it on your account.

i recently went through what u had just happened i had old blue card since it had a new yellow card in it before dish wouldnt activate the blue card i had to buy new card for $50 bucks now that sucks... but got smart bought used 311 for$50 bucks for kids so their would be no more lost access card in it... ; )
