I've been getting ridonkulously high latency on HughesNet EchoStar 19, Beam 5, Gateway 15. We're talking multiple seconds. The highest was a massive 44(!) seconds latency.
How do I find out where it is coming from? Traceroutes don't show anything, though there are a couple hops that time out.
Is it a HughesNet gateway problem? Is someone holding up traffic along the line?
Although the traceroute doesn't show a problem, the final hops always being good, testmy.net latency test routinely shows wild swings in latency. The last test I did ran between 1081ms and 4176ms. TestMy Latency
