Superjoey Ethernet requirement

I was watching a dish on-demand episode on my tv connected to my superjoey when, all of a sudden it halted with a message “cannot access the internet”. My hopper is connected. Do I need to wire an Ethernet cable from my WiFi switch to the superjoey? Will this cause an unintentional issue? Dish was setup by a Dish tech.

No, you don't want to run Ethernet to the Super joey. Probably a reboot of your Hopper or resetting the Network in your Hopper settings will fix the issue
