I am looking into getting a surge protector with satellite coax protection for a Directv HR20 and this Panamax looks pretty good. http://www.panamax.com/pdf/L534A_PM8DBS.pdf
My concern is the specs show the satellite frequency range as 950 MHz-2.2 GHz, but when the new Ka birds light up, they will be using 250-750 MHz. I called Panamax and they said it SHOULD work but they can't guarantee it will:( . I would hate to buy this only to find out in a couple of months it won't pass the lower frequencies.

Does anyone know of a similar product that will definitely work with the lower frequencies?

Thanks.
