For the first time on Survivor, it was the ultimate battle of the sexes. The men are instantly infatuated with the women and don’t take them very seriously when it comes to the challenges. In the end, the overconfidence comes back to bite them as one of them is sent home and becomes the first person to be kicked off of Survivor: The Amazon.

Additionally, with the temperature of the gender war rising, the men's tribe stays high and dry during a tropical downpour while the women are soaked and miserable. The battle of the sexes hits a fevered pitch when both tribes struggle during a crucial Immunity Challenge. After losing two straight challenges, can the men finally win? Ultimately a second person is voted out of Survivor: The Amazon.
1/4/20069:30 pm - 10:30 pmGirl Power In an effort to be better organized and spark some controversy, the women delegate the reluctant and often hot headed Denna to be the leader of the tribe. Meanwhile the reward challenge becomes an opportunity for the men and women to interact and the guys to flirt with their counterparts. The women win reward and younger women branch off to bathe with each other and far away from the older women. This sparks some jealousy among the tribe, most notably from Christy. Ultimately one of the tribes wins immunity and another tribe member goes home.
