Hi

Plugging 119 and 110 into a sw-44.

It works, the rcvr sees it as valid, but the 110 is about 40 points down on signal.

I did plug in the power inserter, etc.

I went back to sw-21x and sw-21 switches, everything back to normal.

Just curious why it didn't work?

Try swapping the satellite feeds and see if the 119 signal drops in the same port. What's your distance from dishes to switches and to receivers? It could also be that the SW44 is over driving the tuner in the receiver.

More likely it is a defective SW44, there is no amplification in the SW44 so it would be hard to overdrive the tuner.:)

Just for grins, I switched the cables. The problem moved, so it is most likely a bad sw-44

I went back to sw-21x/sw-21 combinations. Works fine!

Thanks
