hello guys i have a sw64 and lately i think has started to give me problems.
at any time of the day i seem to loose signal on all satellites. like right now im getting the searching for satellite screen and then the picture comes back. sometimes i cant get the picture back for hours. is this something that usually happens on a sw64?

It could very well be a problem with the SW64.

My question to you is, do you have another receiver in your home? And if so, is the problem occurring at that location as well?

Judging by the age of the switch, it could just be a matter of "old age" kicking in and time for a replacement. If that's the case, you may be better served in getting a newer tech switch.

SW-64s have been somewhat problematic. What is your setup and why do you have the SW-64? There may be other solutions than the SW-64.

Im in the Carribean so im using 3 separate dishes using legacy lnbs. i really wished there was another type of switch outhere that would benefit my setup.

If you have a Legacy receiver, you may have to use those, but a newer system could easily use 3 DP duals and a DP34 switch.
