i am located in west texas and am having trouble getting a good signal that does not drop out with lite rain .my hd locals come in on 61.5 and everything else on 110/119/129. i have a tree line to the south, but a clear shot to the east. could i switch to a 1000.4 dish and get everything that way . a house down the street has a dish pointing away from a tree blocking the entire sw side of the house which gave me this idea.

Easy answer is yes. But it's never that easy. You will have to get an upgraded dish. Why not have a servicecall setup to haves tech come out and telling ur dish instead
