switching radios?

Hi. I just finished installing a new deck in my car, one that is XM-ready. I've installed the xmdirect adapter, and xm works fine, I just need to activate.

problem is, my subscription is still for the plug-n-play unit I had in my car previously. How do I switch radios? Also, does it count as a new activation?

You can just call them and swap it out. I havent had them charge me an activation fee while swapping.
