In a few minutes, the site will be offline for around 45 seconds as I upgrade us to the latest version of Xenforo.

Fixed in this update are the following...

Some of the bugs fixed in 1.4.3 include:
  • Don't show contact details custom fields in the message template when privacy checks are applied
  • Prevent malformed BB code from being used to potentially bypass certain signature tag limits
  • Update Facebook video to use Facebook's new display/embed method
  • Adjusted the timezones phrases to handle changes from the last few years (most significantly in Russia)
  • Change the stats table to store results in a bigint to support days with values greater than 4 billion
  • Fix cached like updates when deleting a user
  • Move IEMobile detection to ensure it is always triggered when it should be
  • Fixed the smilie tabs not working correctly with multiple editors on a page
  • When creating a thread, allow the poll question/answers to be restored from a draft
  • Ensure a username is shown for reports of content created by guests/deleted users
  • Fix alignment of LTR names in RTL languages in Firefox
  • Fix a situations where, with small screens, the visitor tabs would be hidden unexpectedly
  • Do not send thread author alerts when action is taken against a thread redirect
  • Fix the user state not being applied correctly in all cases in the phpBB 3 importer
  • Limit the number of unused attachments deleted at a time to prevent memory issues
  • Prevented tooltip flicker in several places
It should NOT break any of the styles. :) (Fingers crossed!) :D

Thanks for your support! :)

Well THAT was a long 45 seconds...

I did the automated update and it told me there were possibly some corrupt files so I performed the upgrade by hand and it took forever and a day for everything to upload. I wanted to make sure all the files were properly updated. Sorry about the down time... better safe then sorry. :)

I was just going to mention that 45 second estimate...

I could have clicked on continue on the error message and we would have made the 45 seconds estimate. :) But then who knows what it might have broken. :D

We appreciate your hard work Scott.

So... Was this the update that was supposed to fix the style and/or font issue?

Nope this was an update for the forum software itself.

The update for the styles has NOT been applied yet. I want to make sure I have a lot of time just in case it breaks something since it overwrites the existing styles.

At least the upgrade was not an all day affair like the old vbulletin ones where it would take an entire Saturday morning...
