T5 ?

yesterday picked up 125 FTA channels.

rescanned about 15 min ago and now they come up scrambled ?

using a CW800.

any thoughts?

Sure you have the dish aimed well? I scanned that satellite last week and got over 240 channels, plus a ton of radio channels too. If you are not using a motor on the dish, check the lnb's "skew", sounds like you are only getting the stronger transponders.

edit: Also, far as coming up with the $$ symbol, some of them are scrambled but some also show scrambled but are not , try scrolling the channels and see how many pop in....

if you are talkin 97west, g19... I also have 200+ in the clear channels on that sat...

turned it off and back on with main power switch on the back seemed to fix the problem

"DSV",if I may.Make sure in your scanning options to select "fta and cas" or "FTA".If you select just "CAS",you will scan only scrambled channels.

Curious,but in my above post,I tried twice to edit out the words "just CAS",which appear twice but are gone when I click 'edit'.The error is not mine.Very strange!
