I reinstalled my Home Theatre PC after many years and then ran into a big problem - neither DVB Dream or ProgDVB would work properly with my TBS 8922 PCI card. The TBS Blind Scan tool would work - lock and scan and find channels but DVB Dream and ProgDVB would lock but not find any channels. This was with the drivers available from the TBS website and the current build of Windows 10.
I looked up the problem and couldn't find a solution that worked or made sense from the DVB Dream forums. A lot of head scratching and reading. I never found a solution.
Solution: The version of Windows 10 matters. It works if I install an old version of Windows 10 (10.0.10586) but not the current version (10.0.19045.2006). I'm not sure which versions other than those two.
