TBSHD TNTHD MTVHD West now live

TBS HD west and TNT HD west are up in test.
245-1 and 247-1
Any idea when they go live? thanks didn’t know when the testing on them started is reason why I ask Thank you very much appreciate it

wait, we are getting west coast feeds of TBS and TNT soon for those in the east coast and central time zone areas.
I don't think anyone knows who if anyone will get these channels. Channels sometimes go into testing and never go live.

It doesn’t happen that often.

One programmer who did go into a test, but did not later get added, was Pac–12 Network.

That's why I said sometimes.

I know.

I responded because it is more likely than not both TNT–West HD and TBS–West HD will get added by AT&T’s DirecTV.

These two, of course, are carried by AT&T’s U–verse.

I would not be surprised, after adding TNT–West HD and TBS–West HD, that we may eventually get additions of TruTV–West HD and Cartoon Network–West HD

They put Pac 12 Network into test because they thought they were getting close to a deal and wanted to be ready. The deal didn't materialize.

They OWN TNT and TBS now, so there isn't anything that could possibly cause them say "oops, nevermind" and drop them from *TEST instead of going live.

The test could fail
Sent from my SM-G950U using the SatelliteGuys app!

How could a test possibly FAIL? I could understand running into technical issues, which is why they introduce new channels in a test phase to allow them to work those out, but they can't fail to the point where they give up.

To my other point, the west feeds may be restricted to west coast subscribers.

Any word on the testing and when they may go up? Thank you appreciate it very much

West feeds. Other than children's channels, which aims at older age groups as the day goes on, west coast feeds ceased to serve a purpose long ago.

SD. Generally agree, with the exception of infomercials, preachers, and "public interest" channels. A man speaking behind a lecturn, be he a preacher or a senator, is not improved by HD.
