twist 'n shout
These sites give a picture of which way to rotate the LNB for + or - settings.
I refer you to them, because it's easier to remember where to look , than to remember which way to twist.
Satellite Look Angles Satellite Heading Calculator Azimuth Elevation Skew Tilt LNBF Latitude and Longitude values
put in "IA5" and "San Diego"
unfortunately, that calculator doesn't correct for the local magnetic deviation, so the heading is off a bit.
note the picture showing how to twist the LNB
Satellite Finder - © Satellite AV
I put in 92128 zip
Under "location matches", I chose San Diego and clicked "select"
next page, in the middle and on the blue tab, click: "full satellite list"
scroll down the list to 97º bird, and click to select
now, at the bottom of that page, is the picture showing which way to twist your LNB.
Both programs agree that you twist the LNB clockwise, when facing the dish/lnb
As for your LNB, it's
Standard: ( L.O.: 10.750Ghz )
And from the link I gave above for Iceberg's list of transponders to tune up on, it says:
"
97 (G25 AKA IA5)-12177 V 23000 or 12152 H 20000 "
I think we're gettin' close ! . :up
