We are traveling to Florida for one month in our RV.

Is there a way to call Dish to gain access to the locals in the Orlando/Daytona Beach area?

From our temorary location in Florida (Flagler Beach) it is 60 miles to the towers for network access. With our small RV antenna there is no way for us to receive any network programming.

You should be able to call Dish and change your service address to the RV park (include a lot # in case someone else staying there is using Dish). When you return, you can change it back, and your locals will revert back to whatever you get now.

If you are just wanting network service, and don't care whether it is a local station, you could also use the RV exemption to get east and west coast feeds from All American Dish (see other postings here for signup details). The disavantage is that it would cost you more, since it is an additional charge. The advantage is that you would have west coast stations, if timeshifting is an issue.
