The Bible on History Channel

Anyone watching? We caught up on the first three parts of the five part series. We'll watch part four today and then part five tonight. We're up to Jesus asking Peter to accompany him and John being beheaded. I have found that some parts are glossed over while others are done more completely.

Ratings are the highest ever for History Channel. So far over 10 million viewers are watching live with about 80 million total viewers for the first 4 episodes. Doing very well in the younger demographic, beating most network shows.

Great tv tonight with Season 3 of Game of Thrones and the conclusion of The Bible.

Peter denies Jesus; Judas hangs himself; the crowd clamors for Jesus's death; Jesus is crucified; Paul has a vision and experiences a miraculous change of faith.

I have recorded them all with hopes to watch soon. My parents have been watching and said it was good.

the Harry Potter series is more entertaining and much more believable IMO.

It was good. Some parts strayed a bit from what is recorded, but overall, the producers did a good job of portraying what the Bible teaches. I think they did it justice.
