SOLVED! The Directv Connection startup box pops up anyway and then it changes to where it reads waiting for receiver signal PLEASE HELP!!

Sometime Today when I was watching TV a Directv/ATT Connection Box Pops up on Screen then it changes to an another Screen that Says Waiting For Receiver Signal Could you please help with this since the Directv/ATT Tech Support People say it is my box and they say the Box is bad okay!!!!

Is he in the current Snow belt ?
Not sure if it reaches that far this time or not ... could have a build up of wet snow ?

Christopher, did you get an error code ?
ext 771 or 775 ?

There was no Error with those codes and the fix was either a new genie mini box or to have a technician to come out to come fix the problem.

Well a tech had to come out because he had to replace cables and replace a receiver with genie mini known as c61k.

Curious, since they swapped out the C61k for you ....
Was the main Genie box also having the issue ?
If not, that pretty much isolated your issue.
