1. A much better guide. Channel icons and all that.
2. More channels. Some are offshoots that DirecTV doesn't carry that are quite good. Although DirecTV doesn't have as many disputes with major networks that was one of the reasons I switched.
3. Primetime Anytime with the Hopper
4. TheBlaze news network. Although I now subscribe to it on Roku now. Though it's nice to have it in the same guide. But with my Roku it's in HD!

Although I miss these factors, overall I'm very happy with DirecTV now. They are both very good services.

And lets hope At&t Direct stays good. I want DISH to continue to have stiff competition.

Programming choices is my#1 factor in choosing a provider. It's always a choice of what each offers. If Dish had the YES Network, I might choose them.
